Kelly Cheung-MacDonald, Attorney
Kelly Cheung-MacDonald earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Southern California and her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School (magna cum laude) with an emphasis in children’s rights. Mrs. Cheung-MacDonald was honored with the 2011 Dean’s Citation Award for Outstanding Service to her law school community and 2011 Outstanding Children’s Rights Fellow award.
Mrs. Cheung-MacDonald is deeply devoted to protecting access to education, human rights, and justice. During law school, Mrs. Cheung-MacDonald’s studies were focused on the legal rights of children and families including juvenile dependency and delinquency, fertility and adoption law, and special education. Mrs. Cheung-MacDonald found her most rewarding experience to be representing children in the community at their IEP meetings on behalf of her law school’s special education clinic. Mrs. Cheung-MacDonald is trained as a mediator to help promote resolution of matters in hopes to circumvent financially and emotionally costly litigation whenever possible. Her unique blend of legal experience and high degree of compassion for clients offers an unmatched level of client focused legal representation.
Mrs. Cheung-MacDonald is a licensed attorney member of the California State Bar, and has prior legal experience representing clients in tax and immigration matters. Mrs. Cheung-MacDonald can often be found in her spare time embracing her love of yoga, dance, travel, or hiking with rescued German Shepherds available for adoption.
