Saba Ahmed joined Woodsmall Law Group in May 2019. Ms. Ahmed earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2018. During her time in law school, Ms. Ahmed clerked for the Honorable Justice Wilson Masalu Musene in the Criminal Division of the High Court of Uganda, where she helped draft sentencing guidelines for the Magistrate Courts and a country-wide proposal to introduce mediation into the court system.
Prior to joining Woodsmall Law Group, Ms. Ahmed led the Community Mediation Department at the Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center, where she supervised and trained mediators to provide conflict resolution services to the underrepresented and underserved communities around Los Angeles. She also interned with the Children’s Law Center of California—a non-profit organization that represents abused, neglected, or abandoned children that come under the protection of the Los Angeles Juvenile Dependency Courts.
Ms. Ahmed is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is a trained mediator under Dispute Resolution Programs Act (DRPA). In her spare time, Ms. Ahmed loves to travel and explore new walking trails with her adorable Yorkipoo.
