SUMMARY:Complimentary Parent Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a complimentary workshop regarding special education. Mark Woodsmall is the parent of a child with autism as well as a special education attorney with over 18 years experience in this field. His workshop will educate and inform parents of children with special needs of the IEP process\, answering questions such as: ‘When does the District begin services?’ as well as provide tips on assembling and organizing important documents\, including but not limited to; assessments\, observations\, and evaluations. Additionally\, Mr. Woodsmall will address what team members should be present at the IEP meeting and give tips on how to improve goals written in the IEP itself. If time permits\, there will also be time for questions at the end. We hope to see you all there.
