Abigail Lombardo

Abigail Lombardo has been a dedicated part of the Woodsmall Law Group team since her time as a law student. Having started working in the field in 2020, she brings a deep practical familiarity with the Los Angeles school systems to every case, focusing on making the legal system accessible and finding clear paths forward for her clients. Abigail views the law as a subject of lifelong learning; she loves diving into the nuances of a case to find unique solutions, believing that just as every student learns differently, every legal strategy requires a fresh approach.

Her legal education began at Southwestern Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctorate with a public interest distinction. During this time, she built a strong foundation in advocacy through her work with the Children’s Rights Clinic and the Frank D. Lanterman Special Education Legal Clinic, as well as volunteering for the LAFLA Domestic Violence Clinic. Driven by a focus on research and writing, Abigail helped lead her peers as Editor-in-Chief of the Southwestern Journal of International Law and as a supervising editor for the Journal of International Media and Entertainment Law. She balanced these leadership roles with her published scholarship on emerging technologies, and she received top marks for her research on updating internet safety laws to prevent online speech from leading to real-world violence.

Abigail is dedicated to ensuring students receive the support they need to lean into their strengths while learning to advocate for their own unique needs. She views education as the cornerstone of a strong community and recognizes that this success is a collaborative effort, rooted in the vital work of teachers and service providers who help students gain the confidence to pursue their dreams. When she isn’t in the office, Abigail is usually out exploring: visiting museums, finding new restaurants, catching a movie or game, or simply relaxing at the beach.
